The serpent raises its' head
Within the heart of the evil
Ruling with fangs of poison
And coercing in its slithering motions
It devours the souls of the lost
Those who have spent their lives
In pursuit of self indulgence
Then once it has digested
Those abominations of the spirit
It casts itself into the oily pit
There it finds despair staring into its mirrored image
Deep in the abyss
Seeing its reflection - what it has become
Disfigured, deformed, malignant
It sets itself afire
But from the flames emerges
That even evil can not hide, nor deny
The disgust of its own self perpetuated ugliness
